To central louisiana.

The lhsaa has moved the state championship from the superdome to northwestern state.

Comisionner eddie bonine says it was a tough decision but he remembers being in lake charles during the basketball state champinoship and having the crowds numbers allowed for attendance drastically change overnight and he didn' want to have that happen to families again.

So wha's is response to parents upset that these games are leaving the superdome.

"i am in this business for the athletes of this state," lhsaa executive director eddie bonine said.

"they have busted their tail as all the athletes of this state have this year to get to something that resembled a season and a postseason.

Many states are impressed that we got to where we are.

In nebraska, recently they got inbetween the semifinal game and final game and they had to send those schools back to their high schools for the state championship.

My advice its streaming online."

Bonine says the'll do whatever they can to help northwestern state pull off the event.

As for the games being outside... bonine say the parents have to bundle up but at least the athletes will get to play.
