"* republican incumbent nels pierson current term ends on january 5th of 2021..

He's facing democratic challenger randy brock.

I spoke to both candidates earlier today..

Representative pierson says he believes having access to good quality health care is a priority for everyone.piers on says as everyone get used to technology during the pandemic telemedicine could be the future.

Brock says in handling the pandemic it's good to take care of frontline workers to make sure telemedicine is something that's been evolving and that's been more widely accepted.

It's not only providing more quality access for patients to get follow?

"*up visits but hopefully that avoids any complications to it.

There's people that have to be out there consistently who are protecting us that they're going to be taken care of when they have to take 2 weeks off or three weeks off or more because they get sick so we're making sure everyone has workers compensation and tackling insurance problems so we're also addressing that critical need.

Pierson has been in the position since 2015..

This is the first time randy brock is running against him.
