Northview Indian Creek

Welcome good evening good evening and welcome to our final in the zone of the regular season..... our teams got their final tune-up before the indiana high school football state tourney gets underway next week.... we had a couple of games that felt like sectional games tonight with northview playing for a wic divisional title.... terre haute south and terre haute north faced stiff test against columbus north and brebeuf... and we had big rivalry games between sullivan and west vigo, plus rick's favorite jasper-vincennes lincoln..... its no secret the road to winning a title in the wic has gone through brazil and the northview knights for years now.... tonight northview was looking to bring home their 12th wic championship.... they took on indian creek, both these teams entered three and ohh in the gold division in the wic.... the winner would be crowned champion..... the two met at northview.... knights qb keegan garrison calls his own number....the senior gets in from a yard out to tie the game at seven in the first quarter.... news 10's alia blackburn who's an avid high school football fan enjoying this one.... third quarter....northview linebacker braxton sampson with the interception....he returns that to the indian creek 21-yard line.... great field position for the knights offense....korbin allen went for 115 on the ground for northview...indian creek couldn't bring him down on this run....allen fumbles out of bounds at the two... very next play....garrison another qb keeper....touchdown northview, knights up 17-7 late in the third quarter.... you can't play defense any better than braxton sampson did for northview....this is his second interception of the game....he also had a fumble recovery..... ohh!!!!!!!if you didn't know......sampson is also a really good tight end..... he hauls in this fourth down catch for a 26-yard td reception to seal it for northview....what a game braxton sampson had... northview celebrates their 12th wic title... knights win 24-7......northview is your wic gold division champs....
