You aren't always dealt the best hand..

But its how you play your cards that separates you from the rest.

Ue grad bryce weiler was born with ret-i-nop- athy of prematurity..

Which causes the retinas of your eyes to detach and ultimately go blind.

However..

Bryce chose to play his hand to the best of his ability..

And through his determination has changed the lives of many by sharing his story with others.

I need to do what i can to help others be successful in their own lives.

At 4 months old..

Bryce weiler lost his eyesight..

But he did not lose the vision he had to help others.

So many people gave back to me, i wanted to help give back to everyone.

Whether they have a disability or not, because everyone has obstacles and challenge to overcome in their life.

Listening to sports on the radio and through television made him have high aspirations to one day become a broadcaster..

And then one day..

He was given that opportunity and more.

Broadcaster's changed my life, but it was marty simmons, the former ue head basketball coach, who changed my life.

Giving me the opportunity to sit on the evansville men's basketball bench and be able to experience sports and experience college basketball was something that i dreamed of doing.

Being a part of a team is something that i though i would never have that opportunity.

Bryce was given a chance..

And the former ace wanted to return the favor..

As a co-founder of non profit organization called the beautiful lives project..

Bryce has been able to help thousands.

Its changed my life so much that i wanted to help change peoples lives who have disabilities and help them live their dreams in sports or whatever their dreams might be in.

We do programs in the beautiful lives project where people who have disabilities can experience sports, art, cheer-leading, dance, ballet, in many programs across the country.

In life..

It's what you choose to do with the hand you are dealt.

And bryce chose to inspire those around him.

You have to overcome people who doubt you, and you cannot let the people who doubt you stand in your way.

If you do, you aren't going to be able to make it to your dreams in life.

So i surround myself with people who want to help me have success in life, and who do great things to overcome the obstacles and challenges that they have been dealt in their
