Jentill?hunter, it's difficult to determine how many cases are moving through the courts, but legal organizations say they'll have their hands full as more eviction cases are expected.

Landlord mike anderson says he never wants to evict anyone whose making an effort to pay their rent.>11:42:06-11:42:21 "i probably got about 8 or 10 that are sitting with a balance right now and we're working with it.

We're not charging any late fees."he knows times are tough during the pandemic with many people out of jobs.

Luckily many have been able to get help."we've had about six tenants now that have applied for money from the state of indiana for rental assistance.

Four of them got it."anderson says unfortunately he's had to file eviction against two of his tenants now that governor eric holcomb's eviction moratorium has expired.> 11:41:41-11:41:50"i bought a building and i have two evictions i've been trying to do for a while there.

The state moratorium ended last week and then in july the federal moratorium for evictions for people in housing that include rental units such as section 8 programs- those are also coming up for evictions."

Thomas says thirty day notices are needed for those evictions, and those would not be filed until the end of the month.

He says the best thing you can do right now is act fast and use all resources.
