Back in june..... the national center for missing and exploited children announced they will be holding a virtual fundraiser ''miles for hope'' is replacing this year's cny ride for missing children which was originally scheduled for june 5th.
The virtual fundraiser now takes place during the month of september and will incorporate rides from all across new york state.
Organizers felt that a virtual event was the best way to ensure the safety of all the riders, volunteers, first responders, and spectators.
Participants can ride, walk, or run, alone or in a small group.
There is no registration fee or fundraising minimum for ''miles for hope''.
