We've seen two close their doors for good and another one..

"* downtown rochester busnesses have been having a tough go at it this year..

Primp just announced its last day will be this friday..

Citing construction as one of the main reasons and it's no wonder.

"* customers would have to navigate all of this road work just to reach primp's front doors.

While downtown construction has been a big hurdle for many businesses..

Obviously covid?

"*19 has also had a detrimental effect.

I spoke with the loop just yesterday after they offically closed and the businesses told me the virus was one of the big reasons the restaurant could no longer serve the community.

The rochester chamber of commerce is hoping to help though by combining cares act funding from the city and county.
