Morning showers and storms covered more of our area than expected with cloud cover lingering longer into the day.
This resulted in cooler temperatures and heat indices than expected.

Our attention tonight is quickly focusing on strong to severe storms. Models are forecasting a line of thunderstorms capable of damaging wind gusts will develop over eastern Minnesota and move into Wisconsin overnight.
While the overall trend are for these storms to weaken, they may still pack a punch.
Right now the arrival time for these storms are around 1-3 am.
Sunday looks to have some showers or storms real early in the day with quiet weather for the rest of the day.
Temperatures will climb into the lower to mid 80s with mostly sunny skies by the afternoon.
Cooler weather will move in from Monday through Thursday with highs in the lower to mid 80s.
We may have a few showers or some thunderstorms on Tuesday.
