Local players in action at Grand Park

With almost all baseball summer league's cancelled right now due to the coronavirus, players are looking for any live games they can get.... several local guys are getting a big time opportunity playing in the newly created college summer league at grand park in westfield... this league features some tremendous talent... northview grad braydon tucker is one of our locals playing in it, the iu pitcher was scheduled to be on the mound tuesday but his appearance was brief, his game was cancelled because of the weather.... west vigo grad kaleb hannahs faced tucker....hannahs gets the job done at the plate with the rbi ground out....hannahs will be playing college baseball next year as a freshman at valpo.... on diamond five....former linton star kip fougerousse was in action.....the future indiana hoosier has been one of the best players in this summer league...i've been told he's in the mvp conversation....not bad for one of the youngest guys in it....fougerousse's had an rbi groundout..... all three former wabash valley stars say they're grateful to have this oppurtunity to play against such high caliber competition.

<there's a lot of good guys in here.

Just last week i faced a couple projected first rounders back-to-back.

This is sort of my incoming fall season where i won't have to struggle through the whole fall.

This is going to help me get that step ahead a lot.

This is real good competition.

Just seeing guys from all over, all over the midwest.

College pitchers, starters and it'll help me out better in the end.

Competiton here is really fun.

Getting out to play two games a week, it's been kind of tough but it's been like a journey to just like find yourself.> three wabash valley high
