The crash happened around 1:30 this afternoon on route 26 in the town of vernon.
State police tell newschannel 2 that a vehicle driven by 23-year old kristina thorick of binghamton was making a left turn into a driveway when she failed to yield right of way to a motorcycle operated by 76 year old james flynn from fort plain.
He was unable to avoid the collision and was ejected from the motorcycle.
He was taken to oneida healthcare hospital where he died..
Thorick and a passenger were not injured.
The investigation continues tonight.
