Fatal motorcycle crash in Vernon

Police closed a portion of Route 26 in Vernon Friday afternoon after a fatal motorcycle accident.

State police are still on the scene investigating what happened.

The crash happened around 1:30 this afternoon....betwee n skinner road, in vernon and route 31 in vernon center.

State police will not release the name of the victim until family is notified.
