Chris..hunter... an emergency motion filed by the town of andrews was supposed to have come to a head today at ten a-m in huntington court.

Raytheon... which the town is blaming for the high levels of this chemical moved the case to federal court in fort wayne.

Meanwhile hundreds are left still without clean water..

And with no idea when it will come back.trt: andrews' water tower pokes out high above the trees that surround the small town...a town of just over one thousand... who are now going on one week of water they're told still isn't safe to use.

The only thing to do is wash dishes remind kids not drinking water cant give it to the dog so i gotta keep running downtownmike sloan moved back into the andrews six years ago... and says the last week has made him think hard about staying in the town he grew up in.something has to get done i cant have my kids living like thissloan and many others are having to deal with a new normal.they were told friday by town officials high levels of vinyl chloride was found in one of the three wells the town uses to supply water.an air stripper is used to filter out the chemical at the well... which has had problems as recently as 20-16.

The emergency motion filed says raytheon contaminated the groundwater by dumping hazardous marerials at another plant they own... and air stripper issues recently caused these problems."were not getting the info we need from the company or courts but there's a lack of communications around here" many i spoke with say theyre scared for their health.

They arent sure when the water will be safe to use and say this is adding 'insult to injury' with the pandemic.i'm not a fan of cold showers but that's what we have to do town officials were told by their lawyers to not talk on the case.

We reached out to their law firm to get a comment but havent heard back.

The indiana department of envirnmental management released data from samples they collected monday.they conclused if the town does not use the well and flushes the system..

They can lift the do not drink advisory.
