Are looking forward to re-opening later on this week.

But for one..

/////// as illinois prepares to enter phase four..

More and more businesses across the state will be able to reopen with some guidelines after months of being closed.

That includes rocky's italian bistro in paris.

Now..

*this opening* has more meaning than most.

Originally... rocky's was set to open back in march..

But the coronavirus put that grand opening on hold.

Since then..

The owners have been hard at work remodelling..

And finalizing the menu.

They've also started working on an outdoor patio for guests to enjoy.

I spoke with one of the managers..

She says they've been in the restaurant business in the community for 15-years.

And they're looking forward to seeing familiar faces again.

"we are truly excited.

We really are.

This means a lot to us, because we don't think of it as you come here and eat.

It's a family.

We treat everybody as family.

We just want to feel comfortable with everybody.

We want to know everybody."

Rocky's will be open to the public on wednesday july 1st.

And any rooms "for these groups" should be limited "to half-capacity".

For example..

"weddings" and "conferences".

"gyms", "day camps" and "recreational sports" must do the same.
