Oregon's fight against covid-19 is*far from over.

We're seeing triple digit case numbers*again tonight -- plus -- some of the highest single day totals --since the pandemic started -- have come in the past week.

From the new case on the university of oregon campus -- to new modeling showing 3 different scenarios on how the pandemic will look in oregon over the next month.

We have a lot to get to tonight -- but first lets take a look at the latest numbers.

Oregon saw 158 new confirmed and presumptive covid-19 cases today.

That brings our statewide total to five thousand five hundred and thirty five.

69 people are currently in the hospital with confirmed covid-19.

And one more person has died from coronavirus -- bringing the death toll up to 174.

Closer to home now two counties in our area -- saw new cases today.

Lane county has added*one new case and linn county also added*one new case.

Douglas county has 3,666*negative test results there.

And benton county has seen just under 5 thousand negative tests.

Coos county is reporting one thousand nine hundred and sixty five people have tested negative for the virus.
