We do have a lot of free time on our hands right now, and a lot of things are closed and what, what can we do?

And thank you so much for joining me right now.

What can we do to kind of better ourselves right now?

Yes, definitely.

Great question.

Well, we want to have a growth mindset, right?

We want to have a healthy perspective so that we can kind of see what's possible when it doesn't feel like that.

Right?

We are, i think we're all dealing with different fears.

Maybe uncertain, definitely uncertainty, but who am i kidding?

Um, you know, there's a lot going on this unknown and.

Instead of letting fear lead our decisions, which is never a good idea, decisions, which is letting fear lead our and.

Instead of on this unknown there's a lot going um, you know, who am i kidding?

Uncertainty, but definitely maybe uncertain, different fears.

Dealing with different fears.

Maybe uncertain, definitely uncertainty, but who am i kidding?

Um, you know, there's a lot going on this unknown and.

Instead of letting fear lead our decisions, which is never a good idea, right?

We need to really become, kind of go, go inward and say, why am i feeling this way?

What is all this?

You know?

It's time to self-reflect.

It's time for that sort of awareness.

Kind of check in with yourself so that you can say, huh, what is going on here?

Because there's a lot.

To wellness, um, being a health and wellness coach.

Gosh, you know, i'm always sharing recipes and you know, tips and such on being with cree with healthy habits.

But really it's, um, it's about your mindset and, and healthy perspective.

So.

To know what wellness really is.

It's really a state of complete physical, mental, and social wellbeing.

Okay?

It's about being able to navigate your daily, your daily day, you know, your whole day, right?

The demands of life.

D so when you do that in a state of calm, in a state of intention.

You're going to have a better day, you're going to have a better outcome, or if anything, you're just going to show up in a, in a stronger, more stable way for the, for t life that you have.

And, um, and so wellness really is about being present, but also looking within ourselves to say, why am i, why am i ourselves to say, looking within present, but also about being present, but also looking within ourselves to say, why am i, why am i thinking this way?

Why am i allowing myself to think this way?

Um.

It doesn't mean you don't deal with your emotions, right.

It's just, you know, a lot of us have mismanaged emotions like all of us have them, and so just there's a, there's, there's a lot of things we can do to get those emotions in check.

Feel them.

It's important to feel them actually.

Did, you know, anger is actually a healthy emotion.

Um, we don't want to suppress anything.

We want to feel it because otherwise we take it with us and the negative loop of life, you know, it's, that's no bueno.

And so you want to really.

Um, deal with that emotion.

Anger is good because it tells you that you care about something, that you're passionate about, something.

Okay.

What we do with anger is, you know, is really what's important.

Um, but feeling those feelings are really important.

Um, so don't try to be in denial over things or don't dwell on those things that we can't control.

Really focus on those things that we can control right now.

What do you suggest doing during this time?

You know, whether whether it's exercise or whether it's kind of this self reflection, what do you, what do you suggest right now.

All of it, all of it.

That's going to help you feel like you're processing your emotions, that you are intentional, that you're in.

You are in action.

I tell you, i know i have lots of friends.

I have ourselves.

I mean, we all are handling disappointment in different ways and what i've found is by getting into action, confronting what it is that you're feeling and dealing with it is going to.

Help you process it better, right?

It could , for me, what helps is starting my day with gratitude because it is impossible to be fearful when you are grateful and have an abundant mindset.

I'm telling you.

Okay.

Because you know when you are focusing on the negative, it's, it's, it's taking the good away from you.

Okay.

Right.

That is just, that's not how.

It's not, it can lead to too sickness, really.

It can lead to to too sickness, it's not, it can lead to too sickness, really.

It can lead to a suppress immune system.

It's true.

So if you can start with intention, start with gratitude.

And what i do, i have a gratitude journal and i write three to five things every morning.

Some mornings it's tough, right?

When the kids are crazy and you know, i'm like, haven't gotten a good night's sleep because yes.

We're all human right now.

Sleep is something that, um, we're watching where some days it's good, some days where it's not, but we get to make, you know, some really good tips is to set a bedtime right and get off the devices in time so that you can take kind of rest your mind, read something new, or nourish your brain that you know, either brings you peace.

It could be a fiction.

I am so into nonfiction's right now that i really love.

Um, reading books that are going to help me become a better person.
