The Indians Featured Three Seniors in the 2020 Class

Appearances in 2018 and 2019.

Head coach david mcfadden said he wanted to make this year a breakout season before it was canceled..

Mcfadden's group featured three seniors in the 2020 class..

Gabi lane was the starting shortstop for all 4 of her years at twin lakes..

Lane was a 3 sport athlete and hit .412 at the plate in her junior season..

She played in 73 games in her career.

Lane plans on attending i-u kokomo in the fall to study nursing.

Kaylie stahellski played in the outfield.

She racked up 30 runs and 19 rbi as a junior.

Stahellski is headed to terre haute to study nursing at indiana state..

Cassie cannon pitched and played in the outfield.

Cannon totaled a 3.19 era as a junior with the indians.

She is headed to indiana tech to continue her softball career.

Coach mcfadden was entering his first year at the helm in 2020..

But has been an assistant in the program for the last 5 years.

One of the biggest qualities of this group..

Championship game experience..

David mcfadden -- this group of seniors and then cassie who moved in 2 years ago...i believe they played in 5 or 6 championship games in their 3 years.

They're battle tested in that time.i don't think it would have shocked them, i don't they'd have been nervous or apprehensive about getting on the field for that kind of a moment.

The underclassmen looked up to them...tremendously.

When they talked you could see their eyes get big and they-they listened.

These three i have 0 doubts will be world leaders before it's over.

They're all three strong personalities and they know what they want.
