State senator carla nelson says she's heard stories of people having to travel hundred of miles to complete the testing process.

"covi?19 has made the backlog even worse.

So there were tens of thousands of in line so to speak to get their drivers license and now with the pandemic of course and those testing sites have not been open and that case log has just continued to grow."

The existing delays combined with tests cancelled during the covid pandemic, could have led to a projected backlog of more than 10?
