Speaking of sports -- state school superintendent doctor eric mackey said some form of summer workouts could begin in early june.

He said there would be a cap on the number of athletes, along with social distancing and masks.

Huntsville football coach mark fleetwood told us he's urging his players to be patient during this time.

He said coaches are involved in the discussion about when and how practices could resume.

Fleetwood said he's confident football will come back this next school year.

"we gotta be patient here and understand this, and just trust that the people above us here are going to give us a great plan, we're going to get going, and it might be a little bit slow to begin with, because we want to make sure that the families are safe and the players are safe, but once we get it, we'll be back, there's no doubt about it."
