Members of the public gathered on Westminster Bridge on Thursday (May 7) for the UK's weekly Clap For Our Carers, showing appreciation for healthcare workers.

Police and NHS staff were among those participating on the bridge, which is located opposite St Thomas' Hospital in central London.
