Gridley High School hosts drive through cap & gown pickup

Students are getting ready for graduation, but with the coronavirus pandemic - schools are finding creative ways to celebrate seniors.

But with schools closed from the pandemic& how are they getting their caps and gowns?

Gridley highschool put together something special for their seniors& a social distancing drive- through for graduates to pick up their cap and gowns.

If been here for four years so now ive seen them from their freshman year so this is really exciting, just to see them come through, this is cool their getting to go through a blue and gold arch that we made late last night.

Its probably not what we wanted but its what we have to do," sot graduate "yeah it's a little hard weve been getting use to it, we have a group chat with seniors so its still like were together but its tough.

The principle, super intendent, vice principle, and teachers cheered outside gridley highschool as graduates drove past.
