front line workers parade

Friday morning construction

Front-line workers went through u-k's campus and downtown lexington this morning.

It was all to show appreciation to our health care workers..

And first responders.

The parade was organized by rick mcdonald of gooch construction.

He says the idea came to him a week ago... and with the help of his vendors, u-k police, and u-k healthcare..

It came to life.

We just wanted to do something to acknowledge those people."

Because of social distancing... they encouraged people to watch the parade on their livestream.

And thursday was opening day
