Gov. Reeves says state's unemployment call center is now operating 7 days a week

A lot of Mississippians are having trouble reaching someone at the state's unemployment office.

The governor addressed that Tuesday morning.

Reaching someone at the state concerning unemployment, governor tate reeves address that in this news conference in jackson.

He said the state's unemployment call center is now operating seven days a week instead of five.

Those hours are from seven in the morning until seven at night.

He acknowledged people are having trouble getting through.

His message to folks -- keep trying to call.

You'll eventually get through and you will get unemployment.
