The touching moment, shot by a man named Ou Junzhan in the city of Zhengzhou in Henan Province on March 22, shows a female swan’s leg being trapped by a rope from a kite and she is seen attempting to bite it to open but failed.

A male swan was seen staying beside the female and followed her around.

Photographers spotted the trapped swan and called the police for help.

A rescuer caught the two swans, freed the trapped one and had treatment for her before returning them back to nature.
