Doctors in Seattle were forced to make their own face masks due to a global shortage of medical protective gear.
According to Reuters, besides masks, they are short on surgical gowns and protective eye gear.

Joseph Health said they are expecting more shipments of necessary supplies.
The Illinois Health and Hospital Association asked for donations of masks from construction companies and dentists.
Vice President Mike Pence said: “We’re going to continue to put a priority on making sure that we’re calling on industry at every level.”
