Drive-Thru Covid-19 Testing

The drive -thru testing site will be open at 9 to those who provide a doctor's note to conserve kits.

News.

This morning -- huntsville hospital is opening a drive-thru clinic specifically to test for coronavirus.

The drive-thru will open at nine at john hunt park for anyone who has a doctor's note for testing.

Waay 31's rodneya ross is live at the park now with what you need to know before heading to the clinic.

Anyone heading here to john hunt park to be tested will need a doctors note.

You'll also need your driver's license and your health insurance card.

The drive-thru is for anyone who has already been checked out by a doctor and now needs to be tested for coronavirus.

Once you arrive on site -- you'll stay in your car the entire time.

A medical professional will come to your car and swab your nose.

Huntsville hospital tells us they have around 400 kits available for testing today -- which again -- is why you need to have a doctors note to be eligible for the testing.

If you don't have a doctors note -- you can visit the fever and flu clinic on governors drive.

There, you will stay in your car until you're called inside.

That clinic is to test for a variety of respiratory illnesses -- but if you have the right symptoms, you can be tested for coronavirus.
