Mike Pompeo Offers Advice To Iraqi Prime Minister

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo gave Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi some advice.

He urged him to “exercise maximum restraint” and “Address protesters’ grievances.”According to Reuters, this comes after more than 100 people were killed in the recent demonstrations.

The State Department said Pomepo “lamented the tragic loss of life over the past few days.” Pompeo suggested Mahdi address the grievances by “enacting reforms and tackling corruption.”
