For the first time in 13 years, after extensive preservation work, the spacesuit astronaut Neil Armstrong wore in his mission to the moon is back on public display at the Smithsonian's Air & Space Museum.

It was unveiled by Vice President Mike Pence and Armstrong's son, Rick on Tuesday.

U.S. Vice President Mike Pence joined Neil Armstrong's son for the unveiling of the late astronaut's spacesuit, which he wore when he became the first man to walk on the moon.

The unveiling took place Tuesday at the Smithsonian's Air & Space Museum in Washington, D.C.
