According to Reuters.com, "Democratic U.S. presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders on Saturday announced an education policy proposal designed to pump billions of dollars into the public schools system in a direct appeal to black voters who shunned the U.S. senator in his previous presidential bid." Sanders said in a statement on the proposal, “Every child has a right to a quality K-12 education, regardless of your race, regardless of your income, and regardless of your zip code."
