Wrestler Silver King Performs at Matinee Show Hours Before His Death in Ring
Cesar Barron, who wrestled under the name Silver King, died after collapsing at a wrestling event at the Roundhouse Theatre in London on Saturday, May 11.
Barron starred opposite Jack Black in the 2006 comedy film Nacho Libre and was performing at a Lucha Libre wrestling event at the Roundhouse when he collapsed.
Barron, 51, was in a fight against Juventud Guerrera when he suffered what Record Mexico said was a heart attack.
According to the Camden New Journal, King collapsed following a kick to the side of the body from Guerrera.
Barron was counted out before a team of medics rushed into the ring when he failed to get back up.
The venue was then cleared.
