According to a report by Huffpost, on Tuesday, Greta Thunberg, a Swedish climate change activist, brought European Union lawmakers to their feet in applause during an EU Environment, Public Health and Food Safety Committee meeting in Strasbourg, France.

The 16 year-old student from Sweden reportedly introduced herself before saying, "I want you to panic.

I want you to act as if the house was on fire.
