Dollar sinks on report Trump could try to undermine Fed chair Powell

The U.S. dollar eased to a fresh three-and-a-half-year low on the euro on Thursday as concerns President Donald Trump could replace Federal Reserve Chair Jordan Powell and undermine faith in the soundness of the country's monetary policy.
