Canada 'concerned' about the situation in Hong Kong, calls for dialogue: PM Trudeau
Friday, 22 May 2020 Canada is concerned about China's proposal to impose national security laws on Hong Kong and called for real dialogue in order to de-escalate tensions, the prime minister said on Friday.
Wong, together with fellow activists Ivan Lam and Agnes Chow, pleaded guilty to charges related to organising, taking part in and inciting protesters to join an unauthorised protest outside police headquarters last June.
