I am proud of Brighton and our fight against the climate crisis

The climate and biodiversity crisis is the reason I entered politics in 2023. Progress had been painfully slow, globally, nationally and locally. We’ve had a green MP in Brighton Pavilion and 2 Green councils, and for what? There was no serious plan to decarbonise the city and you couldn’t even recycle a yoghurt pot.
