‘Woke’ being misused by Government ministers 'to scare us' says first black female bishop

The word ‘woke’ is being misused by Government ministers 'to scare' people, the Church of England’s first black female bishop has said. Bishop of Dover Rose Hudson-Wilkin said it is a movement, rather than just a word.
