Monday 7 November, 2022Tour included a university lecture on the groundbreaking methodology, a teacher trainer conference, a 20th-anniversary celebration, a grand opening and Cambridge awards.CEO and linguist Helen Doron is in great demand to speak about bilingualism to enthusiastic professionals everywhere. With 200 Helen Doron English learning centres throughout Poland, and 1,100 throughout the world, she was recently invited to speak about the key to learning a language at the prestigious Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, the largest university in Eastern Poland. The session was attended by eager language students and teachers in the Department of Philology, where the successful methodology is known and acclaimed. Following the presentation, Ms Doron fielded a lively question and answer session, and then a variety of news outlets, including radio, newspaper and television representatives, conducted interviews.

Continuing on her wide-ranging journey in Poland, Helen then made a guest appearance at the first two-day comprehensive MathRiders Teacher Trainer conference in Warsaw. MathRiders learning materials, lessons and programme developments were discussed. Attending were trainers from Poland and Turkey. Poland has 46 MathRiders franchises, and the revolutionary programme is based upon a proven, successful methodology that understands children’s different learning styles and opens their minds to the language of maths. Understanding that all children are born mathematicians, the method promotes an understanding of the world of numbers through fun activities and positive reinforcement, and as with Helen Doron English, helping children naturally realise their full potential.

The remainder of Helen Doron’s visit in Poland included visiting learning centres in Warsaw and attending the 20th anniversary celebration of Justyna Frankewicz Popiolek’s Helen Doron English Learning Centre, and the Grand Opening celebration of her new Teen Learning Centre, both in Pulawy, Poland.

To date, the Group has taught nearly three million children to speak English, master maths, experience nature, and learn through movement. The network is rapidly expanding while maintaining its core values and community spirit, combined with business success. We seek additional franchisees to penetrate new markets and business partners to expand its rich educational content and continue breaking new boundaries in children's education.
