Man Charged With Sexual Assault In Leeds City Centre

Police investigating the serious sexual assault of a woman in Leeds city centre last weekend have charged a man.  

Rashid Kwabena Boachie, aged 43, of Ashby Terrace, Leeds, has been charged with sexual assault alleged to have taken place in Blayds Yard, Leeds, during the early hours of Sunday 10 August.  

Boachie, who identifies himself as being of Black African including Black British ethnicity, has been remanded into custody to appear before magistrates in Leeds later today (Friday 15 August).
