Appeal Over Serious Road Traffic Collision, Vicar Lane, Leeds

Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Leeds city centre yesterday that has left a woman pedestrian in a critical condition.

The 79-year-old woman was involved in a collision with a double-decker bus in Vicar Lane at 1.52pm on Monday.

The collision occurred at the pedestrian crossing between the Victoria Quarter entrance and Sidney Street. The bus was heading towards Eastgate at the time.

The woman received serious head injuries and remains in a critical condition in hospital.
