Bradford Man Jailed For Perverting Course of Justice

A Bradford man has been jailed after giving false or misleading information to police about a car involved in a string of speeding offences. 

Gregory Barnes, 45, claimed the car, which was caught speeding on seven separate occasions at locations in West Yorkshire in 2019, no longer belonged to him and that he had sold it in June 2018.

However, investigations revealed he had not actually registered the Ford Fiesta on his insurance until September 2018.
