Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on Doncaster Road.

At around 2:55am on Saturday 5 June, a Red Honda Civic was travelling on Doncaster Road away from Hampole towards North Elmsall.

There was a collision between the car and an HGV on the roundabout junction of Doncaster Road and Field Lane.

Emergency services attended the scene.
