Appeal Over Fatal Road Traffic Collision, Shadwell, Leeds.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Leeds yesterday.

At 10.25am a blue Mini Cooper left the road in Ash Hill Drive, Shadwell, and was in collision with a lamppost and a tree.

The driver, an 83-year-old local man, was taken to hospital for treatment and was sadly later pronounced dead.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or the movements of the vehicle prior to the collision, particularly anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV footage.
