Appeal for Witnesses - Fatal Road Traffic Collision, Huddersfield

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road traffic collision in Huddersfield on Monday afternoon.
The incident happened on Bradford Road / Northgate at 305pm and involved five vehicles – a Mercedes A140, a Suzuki Vitasra an Audi A3, a Seat Leon and a Toyota Yaris.
The Mercedes was travelling along Bradford Road towards Northgate when it and the other four vehicles were in collision.
The 80-year-old male driver of the Mercedes was taken to hospital in a serious condition and sadly died later. No one else was injured during the incident.
