Police are appealing for information following a spate of arson attacks in Torquay in the early hours of Saturday 7 November.

The fires occurred between 2.30am and 4am in the areas of Upton Road, Avoca Avenue and Lymington Road, including sheds being set alight. A tumble dryer and fridge which were outside flats on Tor Vale were also set on fire.

An 18-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and released on police bail until December 4, pending further enquiries.

Anyone with any information including anyone who saw any suspicious activity in those areas or has any CCTV footage which could be of assistance, is asked to contact police on 101 or via email at 101@dc.police.uk quoting crime reference, CR/093978/20.
