Police are currently investigating reports of an incident where several cars were damaged on Farm Hill in Exeter by a vehicle which then fled the scene.

The incident happened on Friday 17 July between 5pm and 5.20pm.

A blue BMW one series reportedly hit three cars causing damage before the vehicle fled from the scene and made off from officers.

PC Beth Kendrick said: “We are investigating an incident where the vehicle fled from the scene. The driver and passenger then later fled from that vehicle.

“This incident happened on a regularly used main road with residential property along both sides and a number of parked cars lining the road. We would be keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who may have CCTV covering the area.

“A 20-year-old man from Exeter was arrested on suspicion of a number of traffic related offences and has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.”
