Detectives Appeal For Information Following Bike Robbery In Oakenshaw

Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Oakenshaw on Friday (05/06).

At around 6.45pm, two teenage boys were robbed of their mountain bikes whilst cycling on Wyke Lane.

The suspects were driving a white transit van and pulled over and forced the boys of their bikes before driving off.

The van is believed to have been seen in Wyke Village and Low Moor earlier in the afternoon.

The suspects are described as a white male and a black male, both in their late teens/early 20s.
