Partnership Work With Teachers to Spot the Signs of County Lines Crime

Over 100 teachers and other educational specialists have joined West Yorkshire Police in a series of webinars around serious and organised crime.

The sessions, held remotely, were delivered to educational specialists to help them to be able to spot the signs of so-called county lines crime.
County lines crime involves ‘hardened’ criminals transporting illegal drugs from location to location. They will often use young people as couriers.

By knowing how to spot potential signs teachers will be able to safeguard those at risk of falling victim to the criminal groups.
