Man Charged Over Leeds Student Stabbed In Street.

A man is due to appear in court today charged in connection with an incident in Leeds where a student was stabbed in the street.

Matthew Warburton, aged 33, of Chapel Lane, Headingley, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a knife in relation to the incident where a 19-year-old man was stabbed in the back in St Michael’s Lane, Headingley, on Tuesday night.

He is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court today where an application will be made to remand him in custody.
