Serious RTC - Falmouth

At approximately 10:28 hours on Saturday 4^th April 2020, the Devon and Cornwall Police received a call from members of the public stating that there had been a Road Traffic Collision on Penwarne Road near Mawnan Smith, Falmouth CORNWALL. The collision involved a car and a tractor towing a trailer. South Western Ambulance Service Trust resources attended the scene along with staff from Cornwall Fire and Rescue.

As a result of the collision a 46 year old male received upper body injuries, thought to be potentially life changing/life threatening.

Local Police Officers, Operations department Officers and Specialist officers from the Roads Policing Team attended the scene, closed the road and launched a full examination of the scene.

Police are requesting that any witnesses with any information and or dash camera footage are to please come forward, unless they have already been in contact with officers at the scene.

The Police Incident Number is 171 dated 4^th April 2020.
