A new album is not coming, seemingly...

*Taylor Swift* has debunked the fan-led 'woodvale' rumour.

The singer's surprise album 'evermore' landed last week, drawing on the same energy that powered her pastoral 'folklore' LP earlier in the year.

Fans quickly spotted *a faint word in the 'evermore' artwork*, leading to speculation over its origins.

Could 'woodvale' be an Easter egg for a further album? Has Taylor been focussing on a lockdown trilogy?

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night - December 14th - Taylor Swift debunked this theory, explaining that an earlier, placeholder album title from 'folklore' promotional materials simply hadn't been edited out.

During the interview she also spoke extensively about the album sessions, working with Justin Vernon and Matt Berninger, and how many times she's sung the word "fuck" on her albums.
