A serious diplomatic row has erupted after a Russian diplomatic vehicle was attacked by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank near the illegal outpost of Giv’at Asaf.
According to Russia’s Foreign Ministry, the attackers shouted threats and damaged the vehicle while Israeli soldiers stood by without intervening.
Moscow has condemned the incident as a flagrant violation of the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and filed a formal protest with Israel.
