Houthi forces launched a missile toward Israel after the IDF carried out drone strikes on Yemen’s Hodeidah port, a key hub allegedly used to import Iranian weapons.
The Israeli military said the missile was intercepted by its Iron Dome defense system with no injuries reported.
Defense Minister Israel Katz warned the Houthis would “pay a heavy price” for future attacks.
This marks Israel’s 13th strike on Yemen amid escalating missile and drone launches from the region.
Since July, six missiles and two drones have targeted Israel without success.
